🌿 Faith Mission Connection
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,
and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.”
— Matthew 6:26
Paw Paw teaches Mikayla that God cares about all living things — even the cranes that return year after year. By slowing down, being gentle, and respecting nature, we learn to notice the beauty and wonder God placed all around us.
💬 Real Moment
For over eight years, two sandhill cranes named Niles and Daphne have returned to Paw Paw and Auntie Becky’s home every spring after flying south for the winter.
Over time, Mikayla learned a calm and respectful way of communicating with them using a proven Paw Paw technique built on patience, stillness, observation, and trust.
“Nature listens better when we are calm.”
This real-life Nature Mission teaches children that wildlife is not something to chase or control. It is something to respect, observe, and appreciate.
⭐ Mission Goal
Learn how to observe wildlife calmly, respect animals from a safe distance, and understand that nature has stories worth remembering.
🦩 What Mikayla Learned
- Wild animals notice calm movements.
- Quiet observation builds trust.
- Nature has patterns and seasons.
- Some animals return to the same places year after year.
- Respect means watching without disturbing.
🐾 Paw Paw Says
“Amazing things happen when we stop rushing long enough to notice the world around us.”
